Kati has an extensive background in coaching and playing tennis. She grew up in Hungary, where she started playing tennis at the age of six. As a junior player she won Hungarian National titles in the16’s and 18’s categories, and also won several national titles in doubles. By the age of 15, Kati was competing in professional tournaments around the world, and was ranked 500 in singles and 200 in doubles on the WTA rankings. Kati played college tennis for UCLA, where she earned a full scholarship, playing number 1 singles in her first year and ranked top-10 in the NCAA rankings. Kati started her coaching career at the Burbank Tennis Center, where she coached several top junior players. After moving to Folsom, Kati worked as the director of tennis at Arden Hills, then moved on to direct the Tennis Academy at Rollingwood Athletic Club, where she trained many top players in the Sacramento area, helping them receive tennis scholarships to D1 universities. Besides developing junior players, Kati is also passionate about helping adult players, and has helped many reaching the next level and compete at the Nationals. Kati also co-authored a book with her sister, titled, “The Conscious Player: A No-Nonsense Guide to Mental Toughness for Tennis Players”.
